Aurealis increases pay rates for 2027 stories
To celebrate our upcoming special 200th issue in 2027, Aurealis magazine is going to increase the payment for all stories published in 2027 from AUD2c a word to AUD6c a word! Remember, Australian writers plus subscribers from anywhere in the world can now submit stories from 1 February to 30 November, and all subscriber submissions get fast-tracked through the assessment process. All stories are assessed anonymously on merit.
