Thousands of AI sensors that measure audience demographics are to be installed across hundreds of Walmart Connect Mexico stores. The “world’s largest in-store audience intelligence rollout for in-store retail media”, which is being undertaken by Advertima, will bring measurement and activation capabilities that have long been standard online into the physical store.
T-Mobile stores turn Samsung devices into 'holograms'
T-Mobile has teamed up with Samsung Electronics America for an initiative that involves devices being displayed as ‘holograms’ in selected stores. The T-Mobile Advertising Solutions project is deploying Hypervsn technology to create 3D renderings of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Watch8, offering shoppers an enhanced way to learn about devices and their key features.
Dual-sided LED displays marks NBA China Games comeback
A 500 sq metre LED installation featuring more than 70 million pixels marked the return of the NBA China Games after a hiatus of nearly six years. The installation at the Venetian Macao hotel – the venue for the event – comprised more than 2,000 of ROE Visual’s Topaz 2.6 panels. Sands China Entertainment, which operates the hotel, tasked Solotech with providing the equipment and managing the project.
German space agency deploys Amino H200 media players
The German Space Operations Centre (GSOC), one of Europe’s most advanced mission control institutions, has selected Amino’s H200 enterprise media players to enhance its arouund-the-clock support of spaceflight operations. As part of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), GSOC is responsible for the 24/7 monitoring of the Columbus module onboard the International Space Station, in addition to supporting a wide range of Earth observation and technology demonstration missions.

Panasonic to unveil ‘new projection light source platform’ The company’s new display technology, to be shown at ISE 2026, is designed to deliver ‘true three-chip DLP performance without the traditional limitations associated with one-chip systems’. Panasonic Visual Solutions is to show a “breakthrough new projection light-source platform” at ISE 2026. The company says this latest high-brightness projector technology will “shape its professional visual roadmap for the year ahead”.
Ricoh buys US-based integrator Presentation Products Inc
Ricoh has acquired New York-based integrator with managed services capabilities, Presentation Products Inc (PPI). The acquisition expands the Tokyo-based company’s digital services portfolio in North America by building upon the strengths of managed AV services provider Cenero, which it acquired in 2022. Founded in 1994, PPI serves enterprise clients across sectors such as finance, legal and media.
Epson names TD Synnex Maverick as distributor for UK&I
Epson has appointed TD Synnex Maverick as the distributor for its full range of projectors for the UK and Ireland. The agreement, which builds on the companies’ relationships in other European countries, will allow Epson partners to benefit from the market knowledge and technical expertise of the TD Synnex Maverick team.
