Avro secure three points and return to winning ways after a 4-2 victory against Workington AFC at the Vestacare Stadium Ten minutes into the match, Brennan Dickenson was sent through behind the Ro’s defence and saw that Jon Vilar Robinson was off his line. He attempted to send the ball over Avro’s keeper to put the visitors ahead, but Robinson managed to save it and kept the scoreline level.

Avro return to the Vestacare Stadium tonight for matchday four of the NPL Premier Division season as they welcome Workington AFC. The Ro come into this game after a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Alfreton Town on Saturday. Since 2023, Workington AFC have been participating in the Northern Premier League Premier Division; however, last season was not one to remember for the Reds as they narrowly avoided relegation from the NPL Premier Division by one singular point.

Avro secure their second victory of this campaign after defeating Bamber Bridge 6-1 at the Irongate Stadium in a dominant performance. It didn’t take long for the Ro to take the lead as Adam Owen, on the right-hand side, whipped the ball into the box and found Ryley Smith. Smith leapt above everyone to win the ball, before sending it over the keeper and into the top right corner for the first goal of the match.

Avro are on the road tonight as we travel to the Irongate Stadium to take on Bamber Bridge for the second match of the season. The Ro come into this game after a 2-1 win on the first game of the season against Leicestershire side Quorn FC. Since 2018, Bamber Bridge have been a staple side in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and last season, Brig finished in a respectable 12th place with 50 points. Last time out for Bamber Bridge, it was a 2-0 defeat on the road to Cleethorpes Town.
