Governor Hochul Updates New Yorkers on Snow
Governor Kathy Hochul today updated New Yorkers on winter weather expected to impact areas across the State starting Sunday. The Governor has directed State agencies to prepare to respond as conditions warrant. New Yorkers should monitor local weather conditions and take action to prepare for winter weather and freezing cold temperatures.

MTA Announces Final Public Meeting in Queens Bus
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced an informational Town Hall meeting for the Queens Bus Network Redesign will be held virtually on Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The virtual public meeting is aimed at further promoting public awareness around the project and will be hosted as a Zoom webinar. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced the completion of three new elevators, making the Westchester Sq-E Tremont Avstation fully accessible. In addition to the new elevators, crews upgraded platforms, replaced existing and built new staircases and created new ADA boarding areas. Westchester Sq-E Tremont Avstation, which serves 3,800 daily riders, is the first subway station to be made accessible in 2025.
