Barnet Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Taye Ashby-Hammond on a free transfer as an addition in between the sticks ahead of the new season. The 27-year-old shot- stopper joins the Bees following the expiration of his contract at League One side Stevenage.

Two goals from Kabongo Tshimanga either side of half-time saw the Bees secure their first EFL victory over Notts County at Meadow Lane, extending the club’s unbeaten run to seven games and keeping them within the reach of the play-offs with two games of the 2025/26 campaign remaining. Dean Brennan made one change to the side that beat Barrow on home soil, with Anthony Hartigan coming in to captain the side and Phil Chinedu taking his place on the bench.

As the 2025/26 season draws to a close for our respective teams, it was that time of year again to celebrate those who have had the biggest impact on and off the pitch across the campaign. Joined by supporters, family and friends, players and coaches from the Barnet FC First Team, London Bees and Academy came together to recognise those who were influential in the success of their sides on the pitch and behind the scenes.

The last meeting between the two sides at the Hive was in the FA Trophy six years ago, when goals from Alexander Cheye, Simeon Akinola and Josh Walker in the second-half saw the Bees progress to the fourth round that season.

Mark Shelton’s early second-half strike was cancelled out by an 89th-minute spot-kick as Crawley Town held Barnet to a draw at the Broadfield Stadium. Dean Brennan made one change to the side that fell short to Newport on Saturday, with Mark Shelton replacing Anthony Hartigan in the midfield.

Nnamdi Ofoborh has been named the BFC Supporter’s Association Player of the Month for February. Our number 28 played almost every minute of all seven league outings in a busy month, finding the back of the net on two occasions, the first coming away against Colchester United, before scoring what proved to be the match-winner at home against Chesterfield.
