It’s a Voah summer! Sexy, playful, and confident at its core, the collection leans into bold dressing with an alluring edge. Going forward, the brand plans to expand its swimwear collections with bolder designs, experimental styling, and a more playful creative direction.
LIZ SKORSIS | BASIC Magazine
You describe the brand as an ongoing conversation with fabric. What does that actually look like in your process? Firstly, I love fabric. I have a sense for feeling and touching fabric, clothing, furniture, etc. From making something for myself to designing a collection, I start with a basis of what I wish to make or design. The real designing happens when I have fabric in front of me. I find that I’m guided into a design once I fall in love with a fabric.
AT THE SOURCE: EUGÈNE RICONNEAUS
Words by Kimberly Haddad French artist and designer Eugène Riconneaus grew up in La Rochelle, in a fishing family on France’s Atlantic coast, where the ocean entered life as work before it ever became subject matter. Prior to ER Ocean Recherche, there was photography, painting, the Paris skate scene, then a footwear line in the early 2010s that put him in stores like Colette and on women like Grace Jones and Monica Bellucci.

This season, I’m dressing the body like a beautiful threat. I want every look to feel like a dark bloom: hypnotic, and impossible to ignore. Dreamlike and liquid in feeling, the collection brings sculptural forms into an ethereal, nocturnal space. The next collections point to a femininity that feels less sweet and passive, more instinctive, powerful, and magical. Expect even more character, more silhouette, and a growing willingness to let each piece stand as a total statement.
EUGÈNE IONESCO AND THE FASHION OF THE RHINOCEROSES
WORDS BY NINO GOJDA When Eugène Ionesco premiered Rhinoceros in 1959 at the Schauspielhaus in Düsseldorf, the audience in suits and pearls had no reason to think his “absurd drama” would one day mirror the experience of a morning scroll on TikTok. Ionesco, a founder of anti-theatre who saw the world as a tragicomic farce, was not writing about animals. He was mapping how mass behavior takes hold.
ART ACADEMY OF LATVIA: Definition in Practice
This spring, the Art Academy of Latvia folds its most anticipated end-of-year events into a single idea: Definition. It’s a word that feels intentionally open-ended, but within the context of the LMA Fashion Show—now in its 33rd year—it starts to feel like a prompt aimed at a new generation of designers. What does it mean to define your work, your process, or your position in a time when fashion is both constantly consumed and continuously questioned?

NOW YOU SEE IT, NOW YOU DON’T
Visited by Travel Writer LUIGI IRAUZQUI On a 90-acre site surrounded by granite formations, the Invisible House extends as a single mirrored National Park. The project belongs to producers Chris and Roberta Hanley, developed in partnership with architect Tomás Osinski, and draws from Chris’s long-standing interest in reflective façades and large-scale minimal forms, with a clear nod to Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey.
