TechNow (formerly Click Online) is a weekly BBC television programme covering technology news and recent developments in the world of technology and the Internet, presented by Spencer Kelly and Lara Lewington. It was created by then BBC presenter Stephen Cole.
Since its debut on 6 April 2000, it has broadcast a new episode every week, marking its 1,000th episode on 6 July 2019. Source

Dorset: Objection to caravan plan for Ukrainian refugees
Plans for up to 40 caravan homes to house Ukrainian refugees have been met with objections. A proposed development for the outskirts of Blandform Forum, Dorset, has been lodged by the local Bryanston estate and the Rothermere Foundation. The move is in response to the Ukraine crisis, a spokesperson for the applicants said. But some town councillors fear it could lead to permanent housing on the site at Deer Park Farm. A dozen objections have also been lodged.
Zara Aleena: Man in court accused of murdering 35-year-old Original
A man accused of murdering a woman in a street attack in east London has appeared at the Old Bailey. Zara Aleena, 35, was walking in Cranbrook Road, Ilford, 10 minutes from her home, when she was attacked in the early hours of Sunday. Jordan McSweeney, 29, from Church Elm Lane, Dagenham, east London, did not enter a plea to the charge of murder. He is also charged with attempted penetration without consent and robbery.

Ex-Fifa secretary general Jerome Valcke was also cleared of the same charge but in a separate case was found guilty of accepting bribes and forging documents. Valcke, 61, was given an 11-month prison sentence and a fine of 20,000 Swiss francs (£17,000), both suspended.
