From Tower Health Getting a flu vaccine will be more convenient this fall, with special “Walk-In Days” offered throughout October at two Reading Hospital-Tower Health pharmacies in Berks and Montgomery counties. No appointment is needed. Flu vaccination can reduce the risk of getting sick and help protect those who are most vulnerable to serious complications from flu. Community members can stop in during the designated Walk-In Days to get vaccinated and help reduce the spread of flu this season.

From PokeKon Pokémon trainers, collectors, gamers, and longtime fans are invited to spend a full day celebrating the franchise when PokeKon Fest arrives in Reading, PA. On Saturday, Nov. 7, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Reading will welcome fans from across the region for a one-day convention dedicated entirely to Pokémon. Running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., PokeKon Fest brings together collectors, vendors, artists, gamers, and families for a show built around every side of Pokémon fandom.
