GARY — A McDowell County man has been arrested on a child pornography charge after an investigation by the McDowell County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement officials said. Robert Curtis, of Gary, is charged with possession of child sexual abuse material, according to a statement by the sheriff's office.

BLUEFIELD — Average gasoline prices in West Virginia have risen 12.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.77 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy's survey of 1,154 stations in West Virginia. Prices in West Virginia are 20.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 73.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
