Hey guys, it’s Scott. Just one final reminder that tonight at 9:30pm EST is going to be our next live Comic Writing class! As I said earlier this week, this is a crazy time for my family in terms of getting our oldest back to college, which is based in London right now. So to make things a little bit easier on Ty and myself, instead of an interview-style class we’re going to be taking a comprehensive look at COLD OPENS.

Hey guys, it’s Scott. It is Friday, June 19th. Sorry I haven’t done a post in a little while. I’ve been meaning to do this class on cold opens, but full disclosure, I had a bit of a health thing. Not really serious, but I cracked a tooth a while ago at a movie with my kid, with our 15-year-old. And it was sort of fixed, but I was supposed to go back. I didn’t have time to go back and ultimately, I had to get it fixed. I had to get it pulled out of my head. So... it’s been a bit of a odyssey.
