Beyond Chron presents a critical look at the cutting edge issues of the day. Beyond Chron is published by the San Francisco-based Tenderloin Housing Clinic. Clinic Director Randy Shaw is the paper’s editor. Shaw is a longtime San Francisco activist who has published five books on activism, including his most recent, The Tenderloin: Sex, Crime and Resistance in the Heart of San Francisco. His prior books are The Activist’s Handbook: Winning Social Change in the 21st Century and Beyond the Fields: Cesar Chavez, the UFW and the Struggle for Justice in the 21st Century.
