We’re backing Access Sport at a key stage of growth, through skills and needs-based volunteering from our team, alongside grant funding. 4 March 2026 The BGF Foundation supports charities working with disadvantaged young people, with BGF employees regularly volunteering their time and expertise to help drive impact for charity partners, alongside grant funding from the Foundation.

BGF-backed Voicescape, a Manchester-based provider of analytics and engagement solutions to nearly 100 UK social landlords and local authorities, has announced its acquisition of Enterprise RPA. Founded in 2018, Enterprise RPA supports social housing providers to work smarter and deliver better tenant support through Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

The year was marked by significant capital deployment, a series of successful exits, and continued support for UK and Irish founders. 26 January 2026 BGF reported a strong year of investment and exit activity in 2025, and returned over £600 million during the year, delivering a money multiple (MM) of more than 2x. The investor also paid a £75 million dividend to its shareholders, supported by a series of successful exits across the portfolio.

Gateshead-based SaleCycle has acquired the French technology company, to create a European challenger martech platform for e-commerce brands. 14 January 2026 SaleCycle, a global leader in e-commerce solutions, has acquired BEYABLE, a fast-growing French technology company, specialising in on-site personalisation and conversion optimisation.

Origin Tech, a fast-growth provider of innovative technology and engineering services to the water sector, has secured a multi-million-pound investment from BGF. Founded in 2019 by Phil Surtees and John Marsden, the North East-based company designs and delivers a suite of advanced technologies that help water companies take action on water leakage. Its AI and satellite-enabled leak detection technology, Origin Orbit®, allows water companies to identify leaks within a 30m area.

The Somerset-based business has been acquired by TDR Capital-backed CorpAcq, following a period of significant growth, in partnership with our team. 7 January 2026 BGF has completed a successful exit from Nonwovenn, the world-leading fabric technology company, headquartered in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The funding will enable Workbooks to further scale its mid-market SaaS platform, supporting go-to-market and product development, and building on its growing US presence. 15 December 2025 BGF has completed a £16.6 million investment in Workbooks, the mid-market SaaS platform that goes beyond traditional CRM. Based in Reading, Workbooks brings sales, marketing, customer support and commercial operations together in one system, helping organisations run smarter and grow faster.

BGF has appointed Anita Dougall to its Board, as Non-Executive Director. Anita is CEO of Sagacity Solutions, a data intelligence business for consumer brands, which she co-founded in 2005. Anita’s experience in scaling and leading a high-growth business will further add to the BGF Board’s entrepreneurial expertise. It follows the appointment of Non-Executive Director Rosaleen Blair CME, Founder of AMS Solutions, in 2024.
