Top Gun: Maverick has surpassed Titanic to become Paramount’s highest-grossing film at the domestic box office. The movie has pulled in $601.9 million so far, beating out Titanic at $600.8 million.

Kevin Spacey appeared in Court and plead not guilty to five counts of sexual assault. He was charged with four counts of sexual assault against three different men between 2005 and 2013. He was also charged with “causing a person to engage activity without consent.” A trial date has been set for June 6th, 2023, and the judge said the trial is expected to run for three to four weeks. He also just left a movie that he was set to be a part of, ahead of this trial.

American rookie Cameron Young is leading at the British Open after the first round for a two-shot lead over Rory McIlroy. But it wasn’t a good opening round for Tiger Woods in what could be his last competitive appearance at this Open. He had a 6-over 78, his second-worst score in his Open career.

Netflix and Microsoft announced they are teaming up to create a cheaper, ad-supported version of the streaming service. Netflix says it lost 200,000 subscribers in the first quarter of 2022 and expects to lose another 2 million in the second quarter. The service currently has 221.6 million subscribers globally. Netflix told employees the ad-supported version may come by the end of 2022. But did not say how much the ad-supported plan will cost per month.

Britney Spears ran out of gas in the middle of one of L.A.’s busiest highways … and cops were called to get her to safety. They got a call around 10 PM Tuesday for a report of a white Mercedes blocking a lane…When they responded Britney was seated in the backseat of a passerby’s vehicle. Britney informed officers she ran out of gas while driving, and her car quit in the middle of the highway. Officers waited with her until her husband, Sam, came to pick her up.
