Seeksaw is an exploration of the correlations between astrology and technology that unfortunately falls flat. Seesaw pitches itself as a show analysing the use of social media and AI in the world of astronomy, specifically looking into the world of AI fortune tellers which have taken over social media in China. Unfortunately the show failed to explore any of this, instead simply mentioning the existence of these videos without looking into them.

An intoxicatingly funny and playful insight into the devastating reality of growing up queer in rural America. Friendliest follows Drew Lausch as he pitches a new superhero, Fagman, the world’s first gay superhero, and in doing so he delves into his past, his first love, his small town escape, losing his virginity, his coming out, and everything in between. It is camp and loving and intimate, with a painful undercut of real world homophobia and abuse.

Steven has just landed the biggest gig of his copywriting career: market the apocalypse. And so ensues an hour of ridiculous, quirky, and intellectual comedy that packs a heavy punch of pathos. We follow Steven as he brainstorms his potential pitch with AI companion Wilson (and yes, we do get the Castaway impression!), reflecting on campaigns of days gone by, his childhood, and the sorry state of the world.

A heartwarming and comforting show about overcoming shame and allowing yourself to be guided through the darkness to find your community.

Kate Butch brings her glorious northern drag to stand up comedy in this excellent hour of laughter. Kate Butch: A Kate in the Hand is Worth Two in the Butch is a stand-up delight that delves deep into Kate’s life, her wrongdoings and her love of proverbs, with one mission, to become a better person. Stepping away from her previous theatrical storytellings, Kate Butch talks through all of her pettiest moments, her spiteful retaliations and moments of disclosure which could lead to a lawsuit.

Drag meets body image in an hour of documentary esc. interview recordings being brought to life by Judy Garland and Judy Garland. Judy Garland Is Fat at Carnegie Hall is a lip-synced recreation of Judy Garland’s iconic performance, interspersed with a thoughtful exploration of fatphobia within the arts industry and the stereotypes society uses to class plus sized performers as never fitting the role.

A delightful yet sinister hour of pure artistry. Meet Mayor Max follows the story of performer, Alex Robins, as he goes on an adventure to meet the Mayor of Idyllwild, California, a golden retriever named Max. Theatre meets documentary as Alex takes you through the history of this town’s canine leadership, and the work Mayor Max has done in the town, with his one doggy goal, peace on earth.
