Tyson Fury is now turning his attention back to Oleksandr Usyk after talks to fight Anthony Joshua have fizzled out yet again. Recently, Fury slammed Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn, who represents Joshua, for creating issues in making the bout come to fruition. Hearn is now threatening legal action against Zuffa Boxing’s lead man Dana White and TKO after claiming both parties tried luring Joshua to fight Fury behind his back.

If Ilia Topuria gets an immediate rematch against Justin Gaethje, it would not surprise UFC commentator Jon Anik. Topuria was battered in the first loss of his pro MMA career back in June. “El Matador” suffered a fourth-round TKO loss to Justin Gaethje via corner stoppage to conclude the UFC Freedom 250 broadcast. In the process, Topuria lost the UFC Lightweight Championship. While Gaethje has said he doesn’t think Topuria should get a rematch right away, does the UFC brass feel differently?

Tony Ferguson has his next bout set, and it’ll be a title defense under the Misfits Boxing banner. The promotion announced that “El Cucuy” is scheduled to face Kenzo Biyong inside the James L. Knight Center in Miami on Sept. 26. Ferguson’s MF middleweight gold will be at stake. He captured the interim title when he defeated Salt Papi via third-round TKO back in 2025.

Shavkat Rakhmonov doesn’t believe that he should’ve taken a clash with Ian Machado Garry back in late 2024. Rakhmonov and Garry collided in the UFC 310 co-main event. The competitive welterweight clash went all five rounds, and Rakhmonov was awarded the unanimous decision. Unfortunately for the undefeated Kazakh star, he was forced to miss all of 2025, and he won’t be returning this year due to injury setbacks.

Ian Machado Garry believes he would outlast Islam Makhachev if he has a second chance against the reigning UFC welterweight titleholder. Garry and Makhachev shared the Octagon in the UFC 330 headliner back in August. While Garry was able to mark up the pound-for-pound great’s face a bit, he was dropped in the second round with a head kick. While Garry tried to thwart Makhachev’s grappling, the champion still clearly had the advantage in that area and it led to a unanimous decision win.

Salahdine Parnasse made his UFC debut in emphatic fashion this past Saturday, and he’s wasting little time calling out a future Hall of Famer in Max Holloway. Parnasse was at the center of attention in the UFC Paris main event. He was matched up against seasoned veteran Dan Hooker, who held the No. 12 spot on the Meta UFC rankings. Parnasse made short work of “The Hangman,” scoring a first-round TKO finish with a body kick and then some follow-up strikes to seal the deal.

Shavkat Rakhmonov thinks that a potential clash with Islam Makahachev could be quite competitive. Rakhmonov was due for a UFC welterweight title opportunity, but injuries have derailed his momentum. The UFC brass planned to book Rakhmonov to challenge Belal Muhammad for the 170-pound gold before having to go under the knife. Muhammad eventually lost the title to Jack Della Maddalena, who then dropped it to Makhachev at UFC 322 back in Nov. 2025.

Michael Page’s contract with UFC has come due, and while there is the possibility of a renewal, “MVP” admits he hasn’t exactly had thrilling fights as of late. Page scored his fourth straight victory this past Saturday, defeating Nursulton Ruziboev via unanimous decision. While the 39-year-old has been on a streak, fight fans have grown restless of his point fighting.
