September is a HUGE month for new SFF book releases, is anyone surprised? (but not as big as October, just wait..) September is also the month of the female writer. I just realized that fifteen out of seventeen of these books are by women authors. My most anticipated book of the year comes out this month—Exit Party—and it’s not the only one I’m dying to read.

It’s a wrap on Summer of Horror 2026! I had a lot of fun, and it was even more fun having so many bloggers participate this year. Thank you thank you to everyone! This summer I read and reviewed thirteen horror books, which I’m very happy about. Below are those books and links to my reviews. I was also surprised that I was able to come up with so many lists and cover love posts, since I didn’t really have any specific plans going into the event. Those are also linked below.

Our weather is finally cooling off a bit, and this coming week the high for each day starts with a “7” 🙂 So I am very happy! No rain yet, but I know it’s coming at some point. Next weekend is a long weekend in the U.S. so I’m counting down the days.
