One of the many unfortunate consequences of that day is that Islamophobia persists through Western mainstream media and current geopolitical events today.

Nagel turned to CNN and saw the terrorist attack that would change the country forever. He immediately left for work, contacted the Transportation Security Administration Federal Security Manager, and began to put together a plan.

I had a chance to sit down and talk with somebody who was working as a first responder that day. Mark Husmann was gracious enough to walk me through that infamous day from his perspective. He’s a man who's spent most of his life working as a first responder within the law enforcement community.

During the meeting, there were 180 speakers, with roughly a quarter being students.

On a series of second-reading votes, the council adopted the Urban Renewal Plan for the downtown site, authorized financing for a multi-story parking garage and cleared the remaining public sewer easements at 11 S.

The ordinance establishes licensing requirements for pedicab agencies and drivers. Pedicabs, which have increasingly appeared at events in the city, including CU Boulder football games and concerts, previously had no framework describing how they can operate or liability requirements, Alisa Darrow, regulatory licensing manager, said.

BOULDER, Colo. — A 34-year-old man was injured Wednesday morning after his Subaru Outback struck a median and several parked vehicles at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Williams Village parking lot, according to Boulder police. Officers were called to 34th Street and Baseline just after 4 a.m., finding the Subaru on top of multiple parked vehicles.
