The updated ACT Awareness eLearning to enhance security awareness is now available through ProtectUK. This free training gives staff the knowledge and confidence to recognise suspicious activity, understand security vulnerabilities and respond appropriately to potential threats. It is particularly relevant for businesses, venues, public spaces and frontline teams.

UK Finance has published its latest report, Enhancing Accessibility in Card Payments, setting out a roadmap for improving accessibility across the UK's card payments ecosystem. While many of the recommendations are aimed at the banking and payments sectors, the report also highlights the important role retailers have to play in delivering more accessible payment experiences.

Senior leaders from the Metropolitan Police, Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, and some of the largest UK retailers have agreed an action plan to help tackle retail crime in the capital. Today’s roundtable, which took place at New Scotland Yard, included the Assistant Commissioner for the Metropolitan Police, two Deputy Mayors, and around twenty retail organisations.
