Ulrike Müller’s expanded notion of painting mobilizes vocabularies of color and shape that are politically and emotionally charged and encourage figurative readings. Alongside small-scale paintings in vitreous enamel, Müller also produces expansive murals, textiles, and prints. Müller was a co-editor of the queer feminist journal LTTR and from 2009-2012 organized the collaborative project Herstory Inventory. 100 Feminist Drawings by 100 Artists.

Christina Yang is Executive Director of AAMC Foundation as well as an independent curator based in New York and Williamstown. She specializes in spectatorship, politics of the image, experimental genres, and feminist care. She has been a curator at The Kitchen, Queens and Guggenheim Museums, as well at Williams College and UC Berkeley. She teaches in SVA’s Masters Program in Curatorial Practice. She participated in Asia Art Archive in America’s 2024 Leadership Camp led by Simon Wu and Daniel Chew.

Cat Cohen in Broad Strokes. Broad Strokes Cat Cohen Lucille Lortell Theatre July 14–September 25, 2026 New York Cat Cohen is a comedian, actress, and Edinburgh Festival Fringe winner. She also had a stroke at thirty years old and wrote a comedy show about it. Cohen’s show Broad Strokes, hosted by the Lucille Lorrell Theatre in the West Village is a hilarious, slightly vulgar, recollection of her medical crisis.

The G.L.O.V.E. My Camera Is My Sketchbook Schoelkopf Gallery July 15–August 21, 2026 New York Richard Estes: My Camera Is My Sketchbook juxtaposes Estes’s photographs and photographic collages with prints and paintings of reflective New York surfaces and scenes of Maine derived from them. The anomaly in the exhibition is a pair of studies—bread in a bakery window—which initially read as conventional still lifes, although their highlights, too, turn on reflected light.
