The National Hockey League announced today that the Bruins will open their 2026-27 season against the New York Rangers on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at TD Garden at 8 p.m. The game will be nationally broadcast on ESPN and can be heard locally on 98.5 The Sports Hub. The complete Boston Bruins 2026-27 regular-season schedule will be released tomorrow, July 16 at 1 p.m. ET. Individual game tickets for the 2026-27 season will go on sale to the public on Friday, July 17 at 2 p.m. ET.
Bruins Announce Hockey Operations Staff Changes
The Boston Bruins announced today that the organization has made the following changes to its Hockey Operations Department: Kevyn Adams has been named Senior Advisor to the General Manager; Dennis Bonvie has been named Assistant General Manager, Player Personnel; Jeremy Rogalski has been named Assistant General Manager, Analytics and Strategy; and Alex Gimenez has been named Director of Hockey Operations, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Bruins Sign Riley Duran to One-Year, Two-Way Contract Extension
The Boston Bruins announced today that the team has signed forward Riley Duran to a one-year, two-way contract extension through the 2026-27 season with an NHL cap hit of $850,000. Duran, 24, appeared in 72 games with Providence during the 2025-26 season, recording seven goals and 12 assists for a career-high 19 points with a plus-19 rating. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound forward has skated in 143 career AHL games, all with Providence, totaling 21 goals and 18 assists for 39 points with a plus-23 rating.

The defenseman was acquired by the Bruins from the New York Rangers on Wednesday July 02, 2026 BOSTON –– Will Borgen always felt Morgan Geekie had another level to his game. The two new Boston Bruins teammates also crossed paths with the Seattle Kraken from 2021 to 2023.
