Time to blast through the city streets, as Gamescom saw Sega taking the wraps off of Crazy Taxi: World Tour‘s multiplayer mode. So far, we’ve seen a decent amount of Sega‘s reinvented Crazy Taxi in action. The first new title in the line since 2002, the all-new Crazy Taxi: World Tour has looked like it might be shaping up nicely. At least, the single player mode has. The multiplayer is another story, as we hadn’t seen a glimpse of it until it debuted at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live show.

The long-lived Turok franchise goes prehistoric one more time, with Turok: Origins. Check out the latest trailer and more. One of the best-loved first-person shooters from the 64bit era, Turok was a legend that spawned a few high-quality sequels. But that was then, and the series has tumbled through a series of missteps ever since. Fast-forward to the present though, and it might be poised for a big time comeback. At least, it looks that way from what we’ve seen so far of Turok: Origins.

CD Projekt Red‘s iconic RPG is back, with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered. Get a peek at that, and the new DLC, fresh from Gamescom. For a game that debuted in 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting quite a bit of press lately. There’s good reason for the chatter though, as CD Projekt Red has apparently been quite busy. For one thing, there’s The Witcher 4, which is upcoming, but the company has been delving back into The Witcher 3 as well, for a fresh downloadable content pack.

The legendary hero from Fist of the North Star is indeed heading to South Town, and will soon be ready to rumble.

The yearly grappling series might not hit the bullseye with every little thing every time, but 2K and developer Visual Concepts don’t seem to have an aversion to building the title out.

There’s a whole new season of action coming to Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8. The game will add Kunimitsu, Bob, Roger Jr., and more. It’s always exciting to see who’ll be included in a new season of content for a fighting game. That wasn’t always the case of course. But as gaming has gotten more ‘DLC-centric’, the genre has fallen in love with adding fighters to games, post-launch. Announcements for Tekken downloadable content is maybe a little bigger than usual too, given the deep history of the series.

A new day to get free comics? Marvel’s set to have Spider-Man, X-Men, and more all coming to shops for Comics Giveaway Day. No, you’re not imagining things. This year will see a new freebie day for comics fans, dubbed Comics Giveaway Day. Put together by Penguin Random House, a longtime book publisher, the event land on May 2nd, 2026. And yes, it will see a collection of free comics hit participating stores.
