HS/EHS is an Early Childhood Program that serves children ages 0-5 and pregnant mothers. HS/EHS provides Discussions around child development, resource referrals for family well-being, Family Engagement, Preventative health/dental assistance, screening, and referrals including development, language, mental health, nutrition and speech, and Inclusion of children with disabilities.

The Buffalo Reflex extends kudos to Marilyn K. Smith, a regular contributor to our "Heritage" page, for her recent writing awards. Smith won the following in this year’s Ozarks Empire Fair writing contest: Theme and 1st place ribbons in the Theme category for “90 Years - Amazing” 1st place in the short story category for “Retirement Doldrums.” 3rd place in the poem category for “Fair Flyer.”

Cyclosporiasis is an illness you get from the parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis. It causes watery, explosive diarrhea and other stomach problems. There is an estimated total of over 7,000 suspected cases in at least 34 states. Though lettuce and salad greens are the most common sources, other possible sources include contaminated produce such as basil, cilantro, snow peas, strawberries and blackberries.
