Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, Sansyou’s new EP turns the tranquil beauty of the forest into music. Shinrin-yoku is the Japanese art of immersing yourself in the forest with all your senses. It sounds simple, yet anyone who has ever wandered through an untouched forest knows there’s something magical about it.

“Oh, it’s a conscious decision, baby. I’m a big fan of mystery. As social media has become so ubiquitous, with people sharing so much of their lives, I feel like I’m going the opposite way and wanting to share less and less.” bbyclose laughs. And yet, throughout our conversation, the British singer-songwriter lets us in a little. Not by revealing everything, but by sharing small pieces of herself—how she writes, what inspires her, and why some songs seem to arrive almost out of nowhere.

If you’ve ever slept in the cockpit of a sailboat, you know the sound. Halyards tapping against the mast. The gentle rocking that eventually becomes so familiar you stop noticing it. Cool air on sunburned skin. A sky full of stars where a ceiling should have been. My dad passed away twenty-five years ago. The boat is long gone.

Food was never supposed to become Thumn‘s language, yet today it has become the way she tells her story. After leaving a career in architecture and city planning, she found an unexpected creative outlet in cooking, turning intimate dinners into immersive experiences that blend memory, connection and art. What started around her own dinner table has since led her to create culinary experiences for brands like Salomon and even Olympic athletes, all while staying true to her deeply personal approach.

During our conversation, Arky‘s new kitten eventually curls up on his lap and falls asleep, giving him a rare moment of peace. It’s our second time catching up with the Sydney-based artist, and this time he arrives with his debut album, Holdin’ On. Built on emotion, late nights and a deep love for electronic music, the record feels like an honest snapshot of where he is today. “To me, music is all about emotion. Making people dance is just a by-product,” he tells us.

La Casa de Agosto is a modern fashion story by Cologne and Barcelona-based photographer Saskia Kinast. Together with model Paula Gómezr, represented by Unikomodels, she captured this sun-drenched series in Barcelona, where warm light, carefully curated interiors and beautiful details gently blur the line between reality and imagination. There is no dramatic storyline here.

“This story was created in Barcelona from a desire to return to simplicity and reconnect with a more instinctive way of creating,” photographer Daniela Gerosa tells us about her newest series starring Kseniia Pavlovna of Blow Models. “After working on larger productions, I wanted to challenge myself creatively by stripping everything back and exploring what could emerge with only the essentials: a model, a few carefully selected pieces, natural light, and an open space.
