Everyone is under the law. That’s the conclusion of the Virginia Court of Appeals in its decision keeping a lawsuit against McLean Bible Church alive. McLean Bible Church, where the embattled David Platt pastors, argued the actions of its elders could not be reviewed by a court—in fact even discovery would be an intrusion into religious liberty.

A new trailer for the video exposing David Platt’s incompetence and the troubles at McLean Bible Church was released this evening on The Real David Platt website. The trailer teased a release date for the full documentary, 10-20-2014. The video contained extensive clips with the former church treasurer and 25-year church elder who detailed that he had no knowledge of many financial transactions revealed through discovery.

On June 2, 2019, President Donald Trump arrived at McLean Bible Church asking that David Platt and the church pray for him. Platt’s performance on stage as was President Trump’s was respectful and the prayer appropriate. However, that was not the end of the story. Platt immediately wanted to send an explanatory letter to the congregation. As Platt was considering sending the letter, Woke church leaders like Mike Kelsey were sharing anti-Trump, anti-Christian rants on Facebook.
