Elliptic has added Circle, an affiliate, to its Agentic Design Partner Program following Circle Ventures' investment in Elliptic. The programme brings together infrastructure providers, compliance teams and technology executives to help shape compliance tools for autonomous, AI-driven financial activity. Circle's participation is expected to provide Elliptic with operational insights and feedback from real-world on-chain financial workflows.

Lexxion Publisher has published a study on AI regulation in UK financial services by Charles Kerrigan and Lisa McClory. It finds that UK firms face a growing patchwork of supervisory expectations. Published in AIRe: Journal of AI Law and Regulation, the study examines how financial institutions are operating under a sector-led regulatory model without a dedicated AI statute.

O2 has extended its USA roaming benefit for eligible pay monthly customers for the rest of England's tournament run. The move applies until midnight on 20 July Pacific Time. Eligible pay monthly Classic Plan customers travelling in the United States can use mobile data, calls and texts and receive a credit for the cost of a roaming bolt-on bought during the offer period. Customers on Volt, Plus Plan and Ultimate Plan tariffs are also covered under the wider roaming arrangement.

The filing argues that current oversight frameworks do not fully address how audit firms should document, assess and defend AI-assisted procedures during inspections, especially when they analyse full populations of transactions rather than selected samples.

DevRev has launched Enterprise-Bench, an open benchmark for testing AI agents in enterprise environments. The framework is designed to provide a neutral standard for assessing production use. The benchmark compares AI systems on accuracy, efficiency and safety in conditions that reflect fragmented data, siloed systems and permission boundaries inside large organisations. In the first published tests, DevRev said its own product, Computer, outperformed Anthropic's Claude Code.

Luminance has launched a customer advisory board that includes senior leaders from BBC Studios, Ingram Micro, Slaughter and May, Staples Canada and Imerys, as well as Lord Ian Burnett of Maldon, the former Lord Chief Justice. IPC and Luware have partnered to offer Luware Recording to financial institutions, expanding access to cloud-based compliance recording for regulated organisations. The agreement brings Luware Recording into IPC's communications environment for trading, enterprise voice and collaboration tools. The service is intended to help firms capture and retain communications across voice and digital channels as more activity moves into hybrid and cloud-based systems.

Their comments come as investment in AI surges and scrutiny of corporate climate action intensifies. Across the region, AI funding and enthusiasm remain strong. S&P data shows European private equity and venture capital firms invested USD $6.8 billion in AI companies in 2025, up 83% year on year.

KPMG has reported a sharp rise in organisations embedding artificial intelligence into everyday work, while industry figures warn that adoption without measurement leaves serious gaps in value, cost control and security. The consultancy's latest Global AI Pulse Q2 2026 report found that 22% of organisations are now at the "driving adoption" stage, embedding AI into daily workflows. That is up nine percentage points from the previous quarter.
