iManage links governed legal data to Gemini Enterprise
iManage has launched new artificial intelligence tools built on Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise for Legal. The integration gives users access to governed knowledge held in iManage from within Google's legal AI environment. The move links iManage's document and knowledge management system with Gemini Enterprise for Legal, allowing users to query matter files, precedent and internal expertise without leaving the Google Cloud workspace.
Pythian unveils Gemini Enterprise AI model for staff
Pythian has introduced an internal AI operating model built around Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise, based on its deployment across 500 staff in 27 countries. The consultancy developed the framework after its own rollout highlighted why many corporate AI projects stall at the pilot stage or deliver limited returns. In its view, companies often focus too much on buying licences and making tools widely available instead of redesigning broader workflows where the financial impact is greater.
Gartner: firms shift growth to monetisation & platforms
Companies are shifting their growth efforts toward monetisation and platform strategies, according to Gartner, based on an analysis of 1,180 growth initiatives across more than 500 large enterprises. About 70% of recent growth initiatives focused primarily on monetisation and platformisation, while 21% centred on new products and service innovation. Gartner examined companies across 10 industry sectors to identify which approaches were most closely associated with efficient revenue growth.
OutSystems launches governed AI loan applications for banks
OutSystems has launched Agentic Loan Applications for consumer lending, aimed at banks seeking more controlled use of AI in loan processes. The pre-built package combines customer-facing applications, software agents and rules-based workflows that banks can adapt to their own products, policies and existing technology.
Rippling to nearly triple Singapore office headcount
Rippling is expanding its Singapore operations and moving to a new office at OCBC Centre East. The workforce-management company plans to nearly triple its local office-based headcount. The move comes as the US$16.8 billion company responds to rising demand from Singapore-based businesses hiring across borders and building teams in multiple markets. Rippling, which combines HR, IT and finance tools in one system, is giving Singapore a larger role in its regional growth plans.
SolarWinds names new finance chief as CEO plans exit
SolarWinds has announced a chief executive succession plan and appointed Samuel Monti as Chief Financial Officer. President and Chief Executive Officer Sudhakar Ramakrishna will step down at the end of September. Cullen Childress will serve as interim Chief Executive Officer while the board completes the transition. Ramakrishna will remain an adviser and shareholder, and SolarWinds expects to name a permanent successor in the coming weeks.
AppsFlyer report flags diverging APAC app growth trends
AppsFlyer has published its State of Marketing in APAC 2026 report, which identifies diverging trends in installs, retention, paying users and fraud across the region's app economy. The study draws on 30 billion installs across nearly 12,000 apps in finance, shopping, entertainment and gaming, alongside USD $6.7 billion in user acquisition and remarketing spend. It covers activity across the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea, and Australia and New Zealand over a two-year period.
TA4922 uses PackClient malware in tax phishing attacks
Proofpoint researchers have identified a command-and-control framework called PackClient being used by Chinese-speaking threat actor TA4922 in attacks targeting organisations in China and India. PackClient is a modular remote access trojan and command-and-control framework that supports surveillance, data theft and additional malware delivery. It appears to be sold through Chinese-language channels on Telegram.
Liner raises USD $36.1 million to expand enterprise AI
Liner has raised USD $36.1 million in a Series C funding round as it expands from consumer AI search into enterprise AI agents. LB Investment led the round, with follow-on backing from existing shareholders InterVest, Atinum Investment and CJ Investment. New investors included Korea Development Bank, KB Securities, Daishin Securities, STIC Ventures and Helios Private Equity. The fundraising came about one year and 10 months after Liner's previous financing round.
