Swift has made its blockchain-based ledger ready for initial use, with 17 banks preparing to pilot live cross-border transactions using tokenised deposits. The group spans six continents, making it one of the broadest early tests of tokenised money for international payments within the regulated banking system. The launch moves Swift from development into an early operational phase for a shared ledger that lets banks coordinate transfers of bank-issued tokenised deposits on their own ledgers.

Mangopay has expanded its Virtual Accounts service to support 24 currencies, up from seven under its existing LU IBAN structure. The added currencies are AED, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNH, CZK, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, ILS, JPY, MXN, NOK, NZD, PLN, RON, SAR, SEK, SGD, TRY, USD and ZAR. The expansion is aimed at platforms that collect funds in multiple markets and need to track and reconcile money by currency.

PayPal USD has launched natively on Polygon and is now available through Polygon's Open Money Stack for cross-border payments. The move places PayPal's dollar-backed token on a blockchain network that has settled more than USD $2.6 trillion in stablecoins to date, according to Polygon. It handles nearly USD $3 billion in stablecoin transactions each day.

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Work, a new agent in ChatGPT for task-based workplace automation, alongside GPT-5.6 and an updated desktop app. The product is designed to let users assign longer, multi-step tasks to ChatGPT across web, mobile and desktop. It can produce documents, spreadsheets, slide decks and web apps using information gathered from connected workplace tools.

Kyndryl has expanded its sovereignty offering through new services with Microsoft, combining Kyndryl Sovereignty Solutioning with Microsoft Sovereign Cloud. The arrangement targets enterprise customers that need to design, build and run cloud architectures around data residency and operational requirements. It covers public cloud services on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, as well as private cloud deployments using Azure Local.

Lumber has launched in Canada, expanding its construction workforce management software into a market facing skilled labour shortages. The company is targeting Canadian contractors with tools for payroll, human resources, time tracking, compliance and site productivity. The system is designed around Canadian federal and provincial employment rules, as well as union requirements common in the construction sector.

Ricoh has been named a Leader in the first IDC MarketScape assessment for Worldwide Mailroom Solutions and Services. The assessment places Ricoh among vendors serving organisations that want to manage physical and digital mail through a single operating model. IDC said the company's approach combines managed services, artificial intelligence-driven automation, security controls, and an outcome-based structure for mailroom operations.

Eltropy has opened applications for an early access programme that lets fintech companies build and distribute AI agents on its platform. Accepted partners will gain a route to more than 750 credit unions and community banks that already use Eltropy. The programme is the first stage of a governed marketplace that will give financial institutions access to AI tools from outside fintech partners alongside agents built by Eltropy.

FintechWerx has agreed to acquire the Ruby Loans lending platform from 1431575 B.C. Ltd. in a deal valued at up to CAD $825,000. The technology is aimed at small and medium-sized business lending. It is designed to let borrowers initiate credit enquiries while automating parts of the loan origination process.

Infios has launched Infios Archer, an intelligence layer for AI-driven supply chain execution that sits at the centre of its broader Infios AI offering. The launch adds a new layer to Infios's software for order, warehouse and transport operations. The group positions Archer as a system that connects data, workflows and operational decisions within day-to-day supply chain processes. Archer is designed to work inside execution environments rather than only as an analytics or recommendation tool.
