A new AI capability that delivers analysis-ready Media Intelligence. More than just a product launch, this is a shift in how communications teams monitor, understand and act on media coverage.
ETA Green Power has launched the ETA-MODEL 20, a 3-in-1 integrated electric powertrain combining motor, controller and onboard charger in a single unit targeting vehicles with gross vehicle weights from 300 kg to 2,500 kg. The system weighs 13.5 kg—a 32.5% reduction compared to conventional systems, which the company says typically reach up to 20 kg. Volume is approximately 20% smaller.
Efficient Power Conversion (EPC) has introduced two 3-phase BLDC motor drive inverter evaluation boards for robotics and light EV applications. The new EPC9186HC2 and EPC9186HC3 platforms are designed for motor drive systems up to 5 kW, and use the company’s 100 V EPC2361 eGaN FETs to target higher switching speed, higher current capability and more compact inverter designs.
IONNA has partnered with Circle K to expand high-power EV charging across the United States, with more than 350 sites in scope under the “Rechargeries @ Circle K” banner. The plan includes taking over Circle K’s existing US charging portfolio, upgrading about 85 current charging sites and building additional stations at high-traffic locations that do not yet have chargers.
Slate Auto says it has closed a $650 million Series C round, giving the startup additional capital as it moves toward production of its low-cost electric pickup. The company said TWG Global led the round, and that it has now taken more than 160,000 reservations for the Slate Truck, with first customer deliveries still planned for late 2026. The funding announcement is tied directly to production plans.
Transense Technologies has landed a role in a Cummins-led project to develop a sensor-enabled smart electric motor for heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles. The 12-month project, called DriveSense, is backed by the Advanced Propulsion Center’s R&D program and part-funded by the UK government through the DRIVE35 Innovation Fund.
Vector Informatik has expanded its CANoe Test Package EV with a dedicated security testing extension for EV charging communication, covering V2G protocol fuzzing and TLS validation across ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-20. The CANoe Test Package EV—Security covers four test domains: V2G communication fuzzing with system-under-test monitoring, TLS fuzzing, TLS protocol tests and custom security tests via defined interfaces.
Dukosi’s cell monitoring system has enabled Nordic Marine Power to achieve DNV type approval for its PowerStack battery system, certifying it for installation on all vessels classed by DNV. The Dukosi Cell Monitoring System (DKCMS) places a cell monitor chip directly on each battery cell, measuring temperature and voltage on every cell simultaneously and relaying the data synchronously to the battery management system with deterministic latency.
VEV has completed the installation of 5 MW of high-power DC charging infrastructure across three Maritime Transport logistics depots in the UK—one of the largest heavy goods vehicle charging deployments in the country. Eighteen DC chargers with individual unit capacities ranging from 100 kW to 400 kW are now in place at depots in Wakefield, Tilbury and Doncaster, designed to support up to 36 electric trucks charging simultaneously.
Infineon Technologies has retained the global number one position in automotive semiconductors for the sixth consecutive year, according to TechInsights’ 2025 Automotive Semiconductor Vendor Market Share report. The global automotive semiconductor market grew to $74.4 billion in 2025, up from $69.9 billion in 2024. Infineon’s share came in at 12.8%, down slightly from 13.2% the prior year, though TechInsights data shows the company widened the gap to the second-place competitor.
ViscoTec has introduced ViscoTreat-I Slurry, a preparation and feeding system for battery electrode coating that combines material buffering, conditioning and pulsation-free delivery in a single mobile unit aimed at small-scale series production. In lithium-ion battery manufacturing, electrode coating slurry (a mixture of powdered active material, conductive carbon black and binder) must be homogenized and fed to a coater without pressure variation.
