WSB 95.5 Care-a-Thon
The 95.5 WSB Care-a-Thon is a two-day marathon broadcast on WSB. WSB donates the airtime to showcase and highlight the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. During the event, patients and staff share their stories of hope, healing, and inspiration. To date, the WSB Care-a-Thon has raised more than $36 million for research, fellowship, and family support services at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.
Children’s Arthur M. Blank Hospital Earns Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center Reverification from the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma
Date: July 13, 2026 ATLANTA (July 13, 2026) – The trauma center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank Hospital has been reverified as a Level 1 Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT). Arthur M. Blank Hospital became a Level 1 Trauma Center following its opening in September 2024. The verification from the ACS recognizes Children’s dedication to providing optimal care for injured patients.
