Hello Everyone, It’s been a few weeks since I last wrote, and it seems the level of toxicity in our world has climbed a few notches. Or perhaps only our awareness of it has increased? Today’s letter is about lighthouses. Over the past few months, I have had many visions and dreams of lighthouses.

Hello Everyone, I’d like to start this letter with a thank you. This morning, as I was lying in bed, listening to the soft snores of my puppy, my mind wandered over my journey here on Substack, and I couldn’t help but feel amazed by the idea of people whom I don’t know and have never met, from all parts of the world, who pay to read my thoughts and feelings in writing. Me, an unknown living in the southern most state of the southern most country at the very bottom of the world.

Hello everyone, I hope this letter finds you in the middle of a happy transition through whichever season you happen to be in. Here in Tasmania, spring has most definitely sprung, bringing with it the wild winds we’ve come to expect at this time of year. So I don’t have much gardening time at the moment, but I’ve got plenty of seed sowing to do indoors, and it’s filling me with hope and excitement for what’s ahead.

Hello Everyone, Lately I’ve been struggling with writing to you, not because I don’t have a lot to say but because I have too much I want to say without the proper words to convey it. The energy of this past eclipse season was heavy, not in a bad way, but in a “let’s face some stuff” kinda way. It also felt like the most profoundly productive liminal season I’ve ever experienced.

Lately, life has been asking the big questions. With the word “collapse” now part of our everyday consciousness, and the divide between the have-nots, the haves and the have-a-lots growing increasingly wider, and the people supposed to be leading us playing war games for financial gain while setting the world on fire.

We’ve been talking a lot lately about The Creatrix, creativity and feeding our artists as part of my 12-month series “A year of Becoming.” Today I’m sharing how I’ve been feeding my artist with the women in The Liminal Studio, and I have to tell you, the process has not been at all what I expected. I shared with you last week about consulting the cards and what they had to say about feeding my artist. Their message was simple: trust yourself.

As the Wise Women and I have been exploring the consciousness of the Creatrix and what it means to feed our artists, I’ve been researching artists and the ways they keep their creativity flowing. One thing I’ve noticed is how often they refer to their art as a practice. It’s always a writing practice, a painting practice, a musical practice or even a movement practice.

Hello Everyone, Lately, I’ve focused on trying to feed my artist. I’ve asked myself, what does that mean, exactly? And, of course, I’ve overthunk it to the point of feeling completely stuck. So I did what I always do when I’ve twisted my mind into so many knots that I’m floating in inertia: I consulted the cards. I chose 3 different decks and asked each one the same question: How do I feed my artist?
