You’re Invited to Our One Year Anniversary Party!
It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since we opened the Scripps Family Center for Public Media in Evanston. We’ll be celebrating with a community open house on Saturday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to stop by for a look at our state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly building, meet some of the on-air and behind-the-scenes staff, enjoy great music performances from a variety of arts and culture partners, and have some fun for the kids.
Meet Rodney Lear, Our New Events and Volunteer Coordinator
Rodney Lear joined the Cincinnati Public Radio staff a few weeks ago; he’s a radio veteran with over 30 years of experience. Rodney hosted a public affairs radio show and executive-produced interviews with government officials, community leaders, international artists and celebrities. He has experience in national radio sales and community outreach. As the Events and Volunteer Coordinator Rodney manages both internal and external events for CPR.
