CKSA-DT is a television station in the city of Lloydminster, located on the border of the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Owned by Newcap Radio, It broadcasts a digital signal on VHF channel 2 from a transmitter located near Highway 17 and Township Road 512, near the Saskatchewan provincial line. CKSA is an affiliate of the Global Television Network; from its launch through 2016, it was an affiliate of CBC Television, and was its last remaining privately-owned affiliate. It is a sister to CTV affiliate CITL-DT and both stations share studios located on 50 Street and 51 Avenue on the Alberta side of Lloydminster. On Shaw Direct, the channel is available in high definition on channel 019 (Classic) or 519 (Advanced). This station can also be seen on Shaw Cable channel 5. Source

Jackson began his broadcasting career in August of 2024 at Stingray in Lloydminster. He grew up in St.Paul Alberta and has always dreamed of being a play by play announcer. Ever since he was a little kid, he had a passion for sports. Jackson’s parents would hear him in the basement playing video games while also doing the play by play for the game. Over the years Jackson has been inspired by announcers like Jack Michaels and Chris Cuthbert and has looked up to them.
Lane Hoffart
Lane Hoffart joined the newsroom as an Anchor/Videographer/Reporter at Stingray in June of 2024 after completing his broadcast training at Western Academy in Saskatoon. Lane was inspired to get into broadcasting after being told he had a good radio voice one too many times.
Callum Hawker
Callum is a graduate of the College of Sports Media in Toronto, and a recent radio producer at Sportsnet, producing the JD Bunkis Podcast and Sportsnet Tonight. Having been born and raised in Canmore, AB Callum has always had a passion for sports, storytelling and wanting to be in front of the camera. Leanne Sanders
Leanne has a certificate in broadcasting and more than 12 years as a radio news journalist in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Most recently, Leanne was the Winnipeg reporter/correspondent for Aboriginal Peoples Television Network. Covering a wide variety of stories, including the ongoing crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People, Leanne enjoys raising awareness of issues affecting marginalized communities, and telling their stories.
Kallen Dunlop
Kallen started his practicum at Prime Time Local News in January 2023, and was later hired in April to be our local City Council reporter and anchor. Kallen was born and raised in Edmonton. From a young age he was always interested in getting in front of a camera and performing. He took an interest in acting in high school, leading to him wanting to pursue the Radio and Television program at NAIT.
Abby St. John
Abby joined the Prime Time Local News team back in 2019 after completing her practicum and graduating from the Television Program at NAIT. Abby works in both the news department as well as the Creative department. Abby was born and raised just outside of Edmonton in Sherwood Park and has always had a love for creativity and creating new things. Abby’s goal is to make it in the Entertainment world whether it’s reporting or making videos, as entertainment is a passion of hers.
Jace Maki
Jace joined the Prime Time Local News Team in January 2020 as an intern and was promoted to a full-time reporter and anchor three months later. He was born and raised in Edmonton Alberta and graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with a Radio and Television diploma. Jace has always been interested in news and current events. He’s passionate about storytelling and is proud to have been able to cover everything from ribbon cuttings to city council during his time in Lloydminster.
Shelby Clarke
Shelby was raised in Edmonton, Alberta with her love of reading, playing soccer, and spending time with family especially at their lake lot every summer. After completing the Radio and Television program at The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, she began her experience as an intern with Prime Time Local News in January 2020. She officially joined the news team as a reporter in July of 2020 and was then hired on as the Weather Anchor.
Sarah Baker
Sarah joined us here at PTLN in the beginning of June 2022 when she was hired as a Reporter. Prior to working at PTLN Sarah attended Holland College in Charlottetown, P.E.I where she received her Diploma in Journalism and Communications. Afterward she started working as a Freelance Journalist with Black Press Media which enabled her to return to her hometown of Castor, Alberta.
Adel Ahmed
Adel joined Prime Time Local News as a news reporter right after he completed the Television program at NAIT in May, 2022. He then became the sports director shortly after he joined PTLN. Adel also fills in when needed as the news anchor for Prime Time Local News at 5 & 6. Before coming to the Border City, Adel lived in Edmonton and Vancouver, where his love for broadcasting grew by watching Hockey Night in Canada.
