Climate Change Dispatch
Online/Digital
Climate Change Dispatch (CCD) is a forum for the discussion of human-caused global warming, our ever-changing climate, plus environmental and science news.
We don’t dispute that Earth’s temperature has risen a little over 1 deg C since leaving the Little Ice Age. These are temperature variations that last hundreds of years and have been well documented.
From the Roman Warm Period to the Medieval Warm Period to the Little Ice Age to today, the Earth’s climate (defined by NASA/NOAA as the long-term weather trend observed by measurements over at least three decades) has been fluctuating, as it has throughout the existence of life on Earth.
As noted below1, CCD does not believe in consensus science. Beliefs belong in church, in prayers, but not in the scientific method.
Global warming alarmists (those who believe man is wholly or largely responsible for any fluctuation in the planet’s overall surface temperature) have embraced climate change as a religion and not as a scientific endeavor for answers.
Our goal is not to change your mind, but to share with you all the studies and papers that consistently contradict the theory of CO2-driven global warming. And to have a little fun when we can. Source

The ScienceAlert article “Sea Level Rise Is Accelerating, And We Now Know The Biggest Reason Why” claims that sea-level rise is not only accelerating but that scientists have now “closed the budget” and identified ocean thermal expansion as the dominant driver. [some emphasis, links added] This is false. Direct, long-term tide gauge measurements around the world do not show the dramatic acceleration implied in the satellite-based narrative.
Cabinet Crack-Up: Miliband Refuses To Raid Net Zero Pot To Pay For Britain’s Defence
Ed Miliband is resisting pressure from Sir Keir Starmer to cut spending in his department amid a Cabinet row about how to fund defence. Trump Admin Pressures NY Gov Hochul To Open New Natural Gas Pipelines To Ease Costs
The Trump administration is pressuring New York Gov. Kathy Hochul to lift the state’s restrictions on natural gas expansion to allow for the construction of new pipelines into the region. Washington Supreme Court Hears Challenge To Massive Horse Heaven Wind Project
It’s been nearly six years since plans were unveiled for a massive clean energy project in the Tri-Cities area, and the fight over how large the project will ultimately be amid pushback from the community played out Thursday in front of the Washington State Supreme Court. [some emphasis, links added] Opponents of the Horse Heaven wind project contend that the state Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council and former Democratic Gov.
New Study: Climate Models Miss This Natural CO2 Source Hiding in Plain Sight
In a new study, Professor of Earth Sciences Dr. István Kovács emphasizes that climate models fail to account for CO2 emissions linked to tectonic processes or widespread mantle degassing. [some emphasis, links added] Instead, the modern carbon budget accountants primarily consider CO2 emissions from the tiny number of Earth’s active volcanoes and ignore the non-negligible mantle-derived emission quantities from continental regions where no active volcanism exists.
Gavin ‘Weak Link’ Newsom Took $50K From Exec Of Pentagon-Blacklisted ‘Chinese Military Company’
California Governor Gavin Newsom (D.) received $50,000 in campaign contributions from a Chinese electric-vehicle executive whose company the Pentagon blacklisted this week over its ties to China’s military.
Bloomberg Gets It Wrong: Trump’s Rainforest Tariffs Don’t Require A Climate Belief Test
A recent article at Bloomberg, “Trump’s Tariff Wall Takes a Curious Woke Turn,” implies that it is hypocritical for President Trump to levy tariffs on Brazil over deforestation while saying that climate change is a hoax. [some emphasis, links added] This is nonsense. Climate activism does not hold a monopoly on environmental concerns, or at least it shouldn’t.
Politico Pulls The Plug On E&E News After EPA Cut Its $459K Lifeline
Politico is discontinuing an energy and environmental news product a little over a year after the government canceled a nearly half-a-million-dollar annual subscription to it.
