Singapore — 15 July 2026 — The Climate Reality Project, a nonprofit climate organization founded by former US Vice President Al Gore, will host an in-person climate leadership training event in Singapore from 8–9 September 2026 – the first ever in Singapore.

Santiago, Chile (11 July 2026) – Today, former US Vice President and founder of The Climate Reality Project Al Gore closed a three-day Leadership Corps training in Santiago by presenting the Alfredo Sirkis Memorial Green Ring Award to the co-founder and community engagement coordinator of Fundación Biodiversidad Alimentaria Seed Guardian, Claudia Mellado Ñancupil.

Washington, D.C. (June 12, 2026) — Over the course of a week, The Climate Reality Project’s Global Week of Action, mobilized citizen support and action across six continents, 20 countries and 75 cities in support of the accelerated transition to clean, cheap energy.

Sometimes an event feels like it’s the start of something bigger. Maybe even transformative. That’s exactly how our Global Week of Action from June 1–7 felt. For starters, in the middle of a global energy crisis offering daily reminders of the dangers of fossil fuel dependence, over 10,000 people in 20 countries decided they weren’t just going to read the headlines. They were going to do something about it.

As energy demand explodes, electricity costs soar, and communities bear the brunt of climate impacts, we need leaders who will pave the way to a clean energy future. That’s why from June 1–7, we’re mobilizing our global network around a Global Week of Action and calling on mayors worldwide to bring cheap, clean energy to our communities.
