MediaTek Dimensity CX C10 Max is a 3nm “All Big Core” octa-core Armv9 CPU with an 11-core Immortalis-G925 MC11 GPU, and MediaTek’s  890 NPU delivering up to 55 TOPS for an “upcoming premium, ultra-portable Googlebook device” with all-day battery life. Googlebook is Google’s new premium laptop category built around the company’s Gemini Intelligence and running Googlebook OS, codenamed Aluminium OS, which merges parts of Android and ChromeOS platforms.

South Korean startup Soulart has launched the Soulart Station, a markerless full-body motion tracker for VR, VTubing, and motion capture. The device uses a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor and an onboard Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to capture 3D point cloud data and process motion tracking on the device. By running machine learning models locally, it avoids expensive PC-side GPU computation or cloud processing, delivering 23-joint 6DoF motion data with a claimed ML latency under 10 milliseconds.

Gearotons M17 open-source hardware servomotor integrates the four parts of a motion axis into one standard NEMA-17 body with no protrusions: the motor, the driver, the motion controller, and the encoder. This level of integration enables it to be low-cost ($20 and up) and easier to use. The user has nothing to source and match, nothing to wire between boards, and nothing to configure. Just connect power and one data cable, and you’re good to go.

Nordic Semiconductor recently expanded its nRF54L Series with the nRF54LC10A, a new SoC with less memory and a smaller peripheral set compared to the higher-end nRF54L15, while supporting Bluetooth LE with Channel Sounding and IEEE 802.15.4 for Thread, Zigbee, and Matter. Built on a 22nm process, the SoC combines a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor with a multiprotocol 2.4 GHz radio.
