The Comment That Allowed Me to Forgive My Student
By Rabbi Gershon Avtzon We are now in the Aseres Yemei Teshuva of 5787, a time where we reflect on our thoughts, speech and action of the past year and try to fix and make amends for any misdeeds that we have done to others and work on forgiving the misdeeds that we feel were done to us. In this vein, I would like to share a short story that I experienced, that really opened my heart and eyes to be more sensitive and forgiving.

It represents what Tomchei Temimim is all about, never standing still, never accepting limitations, constantly moving forward, breaking boundaries, and going למעלה מטעם ודעת. What we see in the building is only one part of the growth.
We Can’t Ignore Their Need
Dear reader, As Yom Kippur approaches, the calls for help continue to come in. Families facing illness and crisis are turning to Ahavas Chesed, and we cannot ignore their need. Please take a moment before Yom Kippur to support our campaign. Your donation will help us answer these urgent calls and be there for families when they need us most. May this act of tzedakah stand as a zechus for you and your family for a גמר חתימה טובה and a year filled with health, happiness, and bracha.
A Kaparos Experience for Every Child
For many Jewish families, Kaparos is simply part of the rhythm of the days leading up to Yom Kippur. The chickens, the familiar tefillah, the excitement, the bustle – it is a minhag that generations have grown up with. But for families of children with special needs, participating in Kaparos can be anything but simple.
