Acclaimed performer, writer, alt comedy powerhouse, and creative force Beth Lapides brings her SOLO show It’s A Lot to The Lyric Hyperion for a limited THREE-performance engagement this Thursday, September 17th through Saturday, the 19th at 7pm. Part comedy, part storytelling, part concert, It’s A Lotis a funny, soulful exploration of what happens when life demands that we change.

QUEER ROAST turns up the heat with an ALL NEW lineup at the Hollywood Improv! Hosted by the ALWAYS mischievous Andrew Stier, this show is sharp, hilarious, and unapologetically queer. Come for the roasts. Stay for the dares. Leave with the good kind of belly ache! Tomorrow’s event will deliver a ONE-OF-A-KIND experience where queer comics take the stage to roast straight comics where no punchline is off-limits.

Keep the Labor Day holiday vibes going this Thursday with LANDLINE Comedy in Brooklyn. The show brings some of the funniest comedians in New York City (and sometimes out of towners) to perform at Wild East Brewing. Cara hails from Chicago and her debut stand-up comedy special, Straight for Pay, is streaming now on Amazon Prime. Her other credits include: Groundlings Sunday Company, Just for Laughs, Dating #NoFilter on E!, OUTtv, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Comedy Festival. Ever is known for off the cuff riffs, fearless crowd work, and his chaotic, hysterical and deeply grounded storytelling.

Welcome to Midday: History Repeating, a comedic storytelling show about how when Sharon Spell was growing up, she was often compared to her mother. So naturally she did everything she could to not become her mother, only to end up just like her but worse. Sharon started coming to terms with her young adult choices when she ended up in an unlikely career in a Victorian house museum. She had made a series of mistakes and to publicly save face, she couldn’t let on how miserable she was in private.

March 27 8 pm Tootles & French - 1 Dungeons & Decanters is a LIVE, interactive adventure blending the world’s best Dungeons & Dragons gameplay, comedy, and immersive storytelling, all hosted by Matt Storrs. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or completely new to the game, this is a night designed for laughs, surprises, and shared chaos (or neutrality, if you prefer). The audience serves as the Gods of Fate, with the opportunity to help or hinder the adventurers.
