In the Grecian Convent of the Daughters of Lilith, the two Batwomans, the two Kane sisters, finally confront each other. Will Kate be able to pull Beth back from the brink? Batwoman #5 is written by Greg Rucka, drawn by DaNi, colored by Matt Hollingsworth and lettered by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. Will Nevin: Are we going to look at Marvel’s decision not to go after Scott Snyder while he was pitching the Absolute Universe as both an all-time what-if *and* a massive fumble on their part?
Nightcrawler’s not loving the aliens in Uncanny X-Men #32
Nightcrawler has made love to a lot of aliens. There was Cerise, an agent of the Shi’ar empire. There was Princess Anjulie from the “Kurt Wagner: Warlord” part of the Cross-Time Caper. There was the Arakkii mutant Weaponless Zsen. There was Bloody Bess of the Crimson Pirates, a group of interdimensional slavers. I say this not to slut-shame Nightcrawler. Kurt is our most sex-positive X-man, and we celebrate that here. Get your freak on. Go. get your freak on.

Enemy of My Enemy a great intro to Daredevil and his world
I’ve never been a Daredevil guy. Not for any specific reason or grievance with the character. X-Men got its hooks into me when I was 12, and I just kind of went on from there. People tell me the Frank Miller run is good, and I believe them, though I’m not really looking to engage with Miller post-Holy Terror.

Inglorious X-Force #7 reminds us X-Men do prisons all the time (PREVIEW)
“No one will be more angry that we’ve taken the MLF prisoner … than the X-Men.” Really, Cable? The X-Men don’t take prisoners? Cyclops specifically would be upset about the idea of a mutant team taking prisoners? Let’s roll back the tape. Our beloved Krakoa had a living carceral system called The Pit that held Sabretooth and a bunch of other mutants that didn’t really belong there. Pretty sure Temper reminds Scott about it every day at the Factory.
