It's Read/Only Friday! 17 July, 2026
moorebeers (MooreBeers) July 17, 2026, 7:41pm 1 Hello All, It’s Read/Only Friday! It has been on crazy week. Crazy enough that I didn’t get to put out a Tyr’s Day Battle due to the work involved, so you know I’m glad today is the end of the week. We have enough smoke outside to cause coughing, and where I work they open the bay doors (with screens to keep bugs out) to help cool the plant down.
Allowing AD users to view more than their own tickets
klstringer (KLStringer) July 17, 2026, 7:18pm 1 We have AD authentication working. How can we adjust what users see once logged in? At the base installation, you can only see tickets you have opened yourself. I have lots of people that work in teams/groups and would like to know about tickets opened by not only their own teammates, but by other teams as well. How can I/we get more granular on who can see which tickets?

Effective permissions - access granted by
question, windows-server, general-windows LiamDC (LiamDC) July 17, 2026, 6:15pm 1 Good day. I have some file shares on Windows Server 2022 where users have read access despite not being granted NTFS permissions. Below is a screen capture of the effective access of a user who is not in any of the NTFS groups granted security access to the share. The everyone group has modify access to the share but that should not grant file access permissions. Is there a way to see how the access is granted?
Utilizing NVMe drives erroneously purchased for a PowerEdge T630
CharlesHTN (CharlesHTN) July 17, 2026, 4:45pm 1 First, let me say – it’s too late to return the drives, and yes, I made a mistake a couple of years back. Here’s the situation: A couple of years ago, I had a project (for a related, but separate entity) to try to turn a donated PowerEdge T630 into a Hyper-V host for a small network. The server had been stripped of it’s drives, but otherwise a good piece of equipment, despite it’s age.
