Pride in Liverpool Breaks Another Record With Highest Attendance Ever
Pride in Liverpool has broken yet another record with over 60,000 people attending the free festival on Pier Head on Saturday – the event’s highest attendance ever. It follows the announcement that this year’s March with Pride was the biggest yet with an estimated 25,000 people marching from St Georges Hall to Pier Head, up by 5,000 when the charity marched through the city in solidarity with KyivPride in 2023.

Biggest ever March with Pride in Liverpool
Liverpool City Region’s LGBT+ community and its allies today (Saturday 27th July) called for their voices to ‘Be Heard’ as more people than ever before joined LCR Pride Foundation to March with Pride. A record-breaking 25,000 people marched from St George’s Hall to Liverpool Pier Head with thousands more lining the streets.
Grassroots Pride of the Year readies for second Trans Pride Hastings celebration
Trans Pride Hastings second year of celebrations start this week. Following a hugely successful first year, winning Gaydio Pride Awards Grassroots Pride of the year and now funded by Awards for All and the Arts Council, Trans Pride Hastings is back for 2024. Accompanied by a series of satellite events in collaboration with local organisations, this year’s main event takes place over the weekend of 27th – 28th July comprising the BIG QUEER PARTY on Saturday night and TRANS PRIDE FEST on Sunday.

Jake Shears to headline open-air orchestra concert on Liverpool’s waterfront as part of Pride in Liverpool celebrations. Critically-acclaimed LGBT+ icon Jake Shears has been revealed as the headline act of Pride Classical, which will see a world-class 32-piece orchestra take to the stage to perform the best Pride anthems of the last 50 years for thousands of people at Liverpool’s Pier Head on Friday, 26 July – the eve of Pride in Liverpool.

A total pot of £30,000 is available through small grants of between £500 and £3,000 to help Trans, Non-Binary and Intersex organisations in the Devolved Nations to be well resourced, sustainable, and resilient.
