Construction juggernaut, Skanska, has promoted Anubhav (Abu) Bhargava from Senior Vice President and Account Manager to Executive Vice President and General Manager of its New England building operations. Abu brings a wealth of industry experience to his role as well as a deep knowledge of the company, having worked in construction for 30 years, and for Skanska over half that time.

Skanska's data centre business is now a defining strategic focus as demonstrated by a run of contract announcements in 2026. The company says the updates will give its customers more time to deal with Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) issues related to its equipment. The move follows the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) revising its guidelines in August 2025 and customer feedback on the need for more practical repair timelines, improved DEF diagnostics and less severe power derates.
