MASS Construction has named Jessica Acosta-Rubio as vice president of strategy. Acosta-Rubio will oversee strategic business development and strengthen relationships with developers, owners and design professionals. She brings more than 15 years of experience across design, construction, hospitality and commercial real estate. The appointment supports MASS Construction's integrated project delivery approach for commercial developments across South Florida.

Jacobs has been selected for a seven-year multidisciplinary framework agreement with TransnetBW. The framework supports Germany's transmission grid expansion and renewable energy integration. Jacobs will provide engineering, project controls, permitting, environmental, and construction oversight services. The work spans planning, engineering, procurement, and construction support across multiple grid expansion programs.

Foxlink Group has acquired a 147,780-square-foot industrial facility at AllianceTexas in Fort Worth, Texas. The company will convert the building into a printed circuit board assembly manufacturing operation. The project is expected to create approximately 900 jobs at full production. Manufacturing operations are scheduled to begin in August 2026. The facility will incorporate AI-enabled robotics and automated production technologies.

Roadway Electric has named Chema Bravo as vice president. Bravo brings more than 30 years of civil engineering and infrastructure construction experience. His background includes over two decades leading renewable energy and power generation projects. Bravo will help expand Roadway Electric's presence in existing markets while supporting entry into new opportunities. He will be based in the company's Scottsdale, Arizona, office.

Tutor Perini Building Corp. has been selected for a $140 million renovation and expansion project at Choctaw Casino & Resort in Pocola, Oklahoma. The work includes upgrades to the existing hotel, casino and entertainment areas, along with construction of a new seven-story hotel tower. Construction is scheduled to begin during the third quarter of 2026 following preconstruction services that started in 2025.

Jacobs has been awarded three new contracts by National Highways in the United Kingdom. The company will deliver design work for the M32 Eastville Viaduct and M5 Wynhol Viaduct. Jacobs also secured a project management role covering at least 15 highway improvement schemes. The project management framework includes an initial three-year term with options to extend to five years. The work supports asset renewal, infrastructure resilience, and long-term highway performance.

Turner is continuing construction on Meta's expanded data center campus in Richland Parish, Louisiana. The project has grown to 5 GW of IT capacity across nearly 10 million square feet. The expansion represents more than $50 billion in investment. Construction is expected to support a peak workforce of about 7,500, with more than 1,000 permanent operations jobs planned. Interior buildout has begun in the campus' first buildings.

Dixon has completed the $14 million Project ROCK transportation and recreation improvement program. The project includes a new bike and pedestrian bridge spanning the Rock River. An $11.9 million federal RAISE grant funded most of the project. Improvements also include new trails, park upgrades, and roadway resurfacing. The bridge, named Petunia Crossing, connects neighborhoods, schools, parks, and the city's riverfront.

ABC Central Texas says AI-driven infrastructure investment is increasing demand for skilled construction trades across the region. Registered apprenticeship programs are available in seven construction trades, combining paid work with classroom instruction. National labor data shows continued growth in employment opportunities and wages for electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other skilled craft professionals.

Catamount Constructors has added Pinkard Construction to its organization. The partnership expands Catamount's presence in the Denver market and broadens its construction capabilities. Pinkard brings more than six decades of experience and its self-perform wood framing division, Pinkard Frameworks. The combined organization will continue serving owners and developers across multiple commercial construction sectors.
