HBO Max could be gone after the Paramount merger, and HBO boss Casey Bloys along with it. A Paramount insider tells Cosmic Book News there is an unconfirmed rumor that Bloys is ready to walk after the merger, pointing to his contract, which expires in 2027.

The first images from Amazon’s Treasure Island have arrived, and David Oyelowo’s Long John Silver comes complete with a parrot on his shoulder. Paramount Skydance told a federal court Tuesday that its $111 billion purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery is done on its end. Every closing condition in the merger agreement has been satisfied, the company says, and regulators in 69 jurisdictions have cleared the deal, including the Department of Justice earlier this summer.
