Search Articles5 Widely-Held Beliefs That Will Be Proved Wrong In Our Lifetimes
Think about a person who lived 1000 years ago. They might have believed that the Earth was at the center of the universe, or that the world was flat, or in the “spontaneous generation” of insects from trash piles and carcasses. Even 100 years ago, most people thought that humans lived on Mars, that splitting the atom was impossible, that bumps on one’s skull could reveal their personality. But nearly every theory they had about the world was wrong.
What Happened to Countere?
It’s sometime in the future, and you’ve stumbled upon this site. Perhaps you’re wondering: Where did everyone go? For almost 5 years, we ran this site for nothing but love of the game: inspired by early internet principles, committed to free information, and devoted to making the world weirder. We were fortunate to work with some rather large public figures and to publish many unique voices. We’ve genuinely seen Countere’s influence in other media projects and magazines, big and small, since.
“Love Thy Master”: The Medieval Morality of “A Christmas Carol” — Countere Magazine
We often imagine the world of Dickens’ seminal work, A Christmas Carol, as a society in the midst of terrifying change, as industrialization and urbanization gripped Victorian England. But the crux of the story, which highlights the gap between the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge and his pure-hearted clerk Bob Cratchit, was in fact nothing new to Dickens or to the people who read him in his day.

Major World Events Influenced by the Deep State — Countere Magazine
There is the world of headlines and history books, and then there is the real world. This is the shadow world, the true world, the world influenced by the Deep State and various intelligence agencies. You would not believe the percentage of major world events influenced by Deep State entities. Most political assassinations, “democratic” elections, and even some terror attacks around the world can be traced to these “black budget” intelligence operations.
HIATUS until December 1 — Countere Magazine
Friends, We’re going on hiatus until December 1. After several years of running this site, a few of us are taking a much-needed vacation. One of us is getting married. Another is booking a one-way ticket to Mongolia. A third is trying to figure out how to get into North Korea. We’re working, though. We’re excited to show you what we’ve been up to. We’ll see you on Dec 1! In the meantime, join the Discord. Sincerely, John Flowers Editor-in-Chief, Countere
Modern ZYNema 2: AGGRO PR1SC' — Countere Magazine
Modern ZYNema is a showcase of recent additions to the great cinematic psyop, created by Darius Csiky. The modern man yearns for wealth, lusts over it, and covets his neighbor’s bag in a sort of inverse gambling addiction in which the pain of another’s loss feeds a sense of superiority within the counter-gambler. He gets nothing else out of it, but as long as others have lost, he’s won.
The Countere Guide to Animal Frens: Cockatoos — Countere Magazine
There are 21 species of cockatoos, ranging from the tiny cockatiel to the black, big palm cockatoo. They belong to the family Cacatuidae (boring!) and are native to Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and surrounding regions. Cockatoos have a distinctive, silly-looking crest on top of their heads, which rises and falls with their emotional state. They can live for 40 to 80 years, often surviving their human caregivers. Cockatoos are highly intelligent and social creatures.
The Secret Russian KGB Book of Alien Races — Countere Magazine
The book’s primary purpose—allegedly—was to inform KGB agents about various extraterrestrial races that had visited Earth. Part alien bestiary, part instruction manual on dealing with aliens (“engage with them, follow them, learn from them), and part UFO gallery, the book is an exhaustive but easy-to-read encyclopedia on extraterrestrial matters.
