New Payroll Clerk Training from Creative Pathways™ and INFilm

It will provide participants with an understanding of the motion picture industry ecosystem and the fundamental skills, knowledge, and abilities required to work in an entry-level accounting role as a payroll clerk.
New Creative Pathways™ Bursary Supports Regional B.C. Film Industry Training
Creative Pathways™ at Creative BC is offering a bursary to support people living outside the Lower Mainland who want to earn the certifications needed to pursue a Below-the-Line career in B.C.’s motion picture industry. The Motion Picture Industry Orientation Program (MPIO) is a mandatory course required to join many of B.C.’s motion picture unions and guilds. It provides essential industry knowledge and practical information that career seekers need to know before working on a film set.
Survey: National Survey on the Cultural Sector’s Readiness for Artificial Intelligence
As part of the implementation of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy, AI for All, Canadian Heritage is developing a new Creative Technology Program, a $50 million initiative designed to support the cultural sector’s adaptation to technological change, including advances in artificial intelligence. To support the design of this program, Canadian Hertiage is launching the National Survey on the Cultural Sector’s Readiness for Artificial Intelligence.
Call for Entries: Canadian Creative Accelerator Horror Programme 2026
The Canadian Creative Accelerator (CCA) is organized by the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) at the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles with the support of Telefilm Canada. The 2026 program will kick off in October 2026 with curated workshops, in-person meetings, and 1:1 mentorship across 1 month. The program will include two in-person weeks in Los Angeles. The programming will take place in-person in Los Angeles, the weeks of October 26th, 2026 and December 7th, 2026 .
Creative BC grants $1.25M to 84 artists through Amplify BC’s Career Development program
