Catholic Relief Services was founded in 1943 by the Catholic Bishops of the United States to serve World War II survivors in Europe. Since then, we have expanded in size to reach more than 200 million people in more than 100 countries on five continents.
For over 80 years, our mission has been to assist impoverished and disadvantaged people overseas, working in the spirit of Catholic social teaching to promote the sacredness of human life and the dignity of the human person. Although our mission is rooted in the Catholic faith, our operations serve people based solely on need, regardless of their race, religion or ethnicity. Within the United States, CRS engages Catholics to live their faith in solidarity with the poor and suffering people of the world. Source

Using Digital Tools to Deliver ITNs in Complex Settings
Digital technologies can improve the monitoring, efficiency, and equity of vector control programs in complex operating environments. In collaboration with the Alliance for Malaria Prevention’s Humanitarian and At-Risk Populations Working Group (AMP HARP WG), CRS and national partners developed these case studies from Burundi, Chad, Mali, Pakistan, and Somalia.

Scaling Impact, Sustaining Change – Ghana Impact Report
Our 2025 Impact Report highlights a year of transformative impact made possible through strong partnerships that improved health outcomes, strengthened livelihoods, expanded access to safe water, and promoted peace and resilience in Ghana. During the year, CRS implemented 13 projects across 11 regions and 51 districts, directly reaching 166,072 people and indirectly benefiting more than 657,300 others.
