The Eagles men's team finished eighth overall with 40 average team points, a 215 point decrease from the Chadron hometown rodeo. Gillette College racked up 560 points and flew into first handedly as a team.

While many of us have a favorite sport (including myself), I enjoy watching all sports because of the fight and competition it shows in college students and fans. But recently, a lot of people have been getting antsy with our win totals over various sports, namely football.

Jack Skavdahl, senior of Harrison, took home the win for the Eagles in saddle bronc riding. The CSC cowboy immediately set the bar for the rest of the contestants in the long-go with an 80 point ride.

The embattled Eagles despite winning in five sets against Colorado School of Mines, of Golden, on Friday had a tough two games to follow after taking on MSU Denver and Wayne State College.

The meeting began with Chief Justice Megan Hodgson, junior of McCook, swearing in two senators.

The meeting began with Chief Justice Megan Hodgson, junior of McCook, swearing in Katie Hoeke, of Rapid City, South Dakota, as an at large senator.

I am a sentimental person. I always have been. Looking around the newsroom, every corner is oozing memories. I don't think I will ever be able to look at a box of Safeway muffins, drink Mountain Dew or smell cigarette smoke without thinking about Mr. K. I know that every time I see someone throwing around a ball, I think of Brandon Davenport. Every time he gives me advice or comments, I always picture him leaning back in the editor's chair throwing a baseball in the air.
