The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has approved the appointment of Professor Vincent Wong Wai-sun, Professor in the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, as Associate Vice-President (Research) on a concurrent basis for two years, effective 1 August 2026. He succeeds Professor Patrick Wong Chun-man, who will step down on 31 July 2026.

Professor Yueming Yan has published an article entitled “Institutionalizing The Trade-Labor Nexus” in the Michigan Journal of International Law. Abstract: While scholars have extensively explored the evolution of labor provisions in trade agreements, less attention has been paid to the institutional mechanisms that operationalize these provisions. This article addresses this gap by offering a comparative analysis of labor compliance models that are emerging across jurisdictions.
