Bridgestone’s new Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) platform attracted strong interest at this year’s Road Transport Expo (RTX), as fleet operators visited the stand to see how tailored data insights could support more efficient fleet decision-making. Making its exhibition debut in Stoneleigh, the groundbreaking new tool quickly became one of the stand’s biggest attractions, with thousands of visitors keen to understand how real-world operational data can be used to reduce fleet costs.

Scottish agricultural and haulage business W J & J Green says it is benefiting from improved fleet compliance, maintenance oversight and operational visibility after implementing AssetGo’s fleet management and compliance software. One of the UK’s leading waste management companies says it halved downtime for part of its mobile plant fleet, thanks to AssetGo. SUEZ recycling and recovery UK is a waste management company that collects, sorts, and recycles waste from households and businesses. It also composts, generates energy and manufactures alternative fuels. The company wanted a fleet management platform for its plant equipment in its administrative region of central England, covering more than 100 machines.

Durite introduces new AI Low Bridge Detection System at Road Transport Expo Durite, a leader in vehicle safety, lighting and auto electrical parts, will be showcasing its new AI Low Bridge Detection System at this year’s RTX show in Stoneleigh, on 24th-26th June. The Durite Low Bridge Detection System utilises Smart AI-powered camera technology to detect and alert over-height vehicles to the presence of low bridges and also reads safety height signage.
