Trump’s latest trolling effort, coming via Truth Social, is the claim that the Strait of Hormuz is “U.S. territory.” On his withering Truth Social platform, Trump posted an image showing the Strait of Hormuz, with a circle encompassing parts of Iran, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.

Today is Primary Day in Florida and in the Democratic Senate Primary, former Army Colonel Alex Vindman is losing to Angie Nixon, a DSA member, labor organizer zd State Representative. With 78% of the vote reported, Nixon is leading 54-46, and is racking up the majority of the Election Day vote. If she wins she’ll be facing appointed Senator Ashley Moody who replaced Marco Rubio when he joined the Trump Administration.

One goes without stopping. The other doesn’t go at all The USS Abraham Lincoln’s record-setting time at sea, combined with an increasingly demoralized crew and an administration that claims everything is hunky dory, has dominated the US Navy news. But the Lincoln is not the only ship operating sub-optimally. In fact, compared to the USS Benfold, it is performing at a high level. In large part, this is because the Benfold wasn’t operating at all for four days.
